Kai BaldManaging Director - Head of Digital at Deutsche Asset Management
In this role, Kai drives and executes AM’s digital strategy, working closely with AM’s businesses. Moreover, he is responsible for the Digital & Direct business within AM’s Sales in EMEA & APAC. Deutsche AM’s direct business serves over 140,000 clients with 2.6bn assets under management. Prior to his current role, Kai served as Head of Digital Distribution for Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management and as Head of Public Distribution for Passive Investment Products such as ETFs and ETCs. In previous roles at Deutsche Bank, he globally led the db-X Market Development (covering db-X markets, db X-trackers, db-X ETC, db-X funds) working out of Frankfurt and London. In addition, he had worked as Global Head of Branding for Deutsche Bank and managed the brand transition of Bankers Trust to Deutsche Bank in 2000 out of New York.
Kai holds a degree in Business Administration from Johann-Wolfgang-Goethe University (Diplom-Kaufmann).
